Nigel watched wistfully from his rover as the fleet broke through the thin atmosphere, course set for Nebula Station. He was grateful for the new friends that delivered him safely back to his home world after his unexpected adventure, and while he would miss them terribly, he knew this place was where he was meant to be: Paws planted firmly on the ground, tending his root garden, and playing fetch with Paisley who was waiting for him at home, at the foot of his bed as always.

Mabel wasn’t prepared for the strange and inconsistent gravity throughout the Rock Garden. She and Torik had just been assigned to the lush asteroid belt, expecting weeks of poly-gravity training, when the Bureau of Botanical Betterment unexpectedly dispatched the entire fleet to prepare the seedlings for the coming solar storm.
