Working with your vision, I create whimsical and colorful 2D mixed-media paintings full of illustrative details, using acrylic paints and inks, specialty art papers and found paper ephemera like book pages, maps, brochures, etc. Currently I work mostly on stretched canvas (which offers added flexibility because you can choose to frame it, or not!) but will create pieces on paper (which would require framing) upon request. Sometimes, but not always, the theme really inspires me and I'll create two complimentary pieces at the same time and let you choose your favorite! Because my process involves several layers and I work pretty intuitively I don't provide any sketches or updates before the delivery of the completed piece(s).

Typically my process takes about 2 - 12 months to complete, depending heavily on my existing workload. I can sometimes work under tighter deadlines, so feel free to inquire about my current availability if you need something sooner!

My most common sizes are listed, but I can do any size, so if you have something else in mind, let me know! I also offer 20% off for complementary sets of 2 or more pieces, if you want to create a little grouping. The pictured dinos, penguins and musical animals are examples of this.
