When the Rock Garden is in full bloom, the entire asteroid belt glows in vibrant shades of red, and yellow, and pink, and orange. The seedlings that cover the surface of each asteroid don’t need water, or air, or even much light from the nearest star. They get all the nourishment they need from the wild elements whipping around the neighboring nebula.

About the collection:

My Scrapscapes are small visual stories created from found paper ephemera, such as maps, book pages, brochures, any type of discarded paper scraps as well as scraps from other studio projects and special "paint pages" I create to use up excess paint left on my brushes and palettes after working in the studio. In most cases, the title of the Scrapscapes can be found hidden in the bits of text that show through layers of paint and other details.
